A still from a film I made in my first year at the RCA. I was interested in extrapolating the process of making in construction, and enhancing the beauty of error during fabrication. This 1:1 wall structure was a process to display the beauty that can come through building when it is confronting bodies and objects that deform the finish. Unlike typical construction processes that hide away these moments and cover them with sleek, seamless decoration that inevitably become damaged and noticeably withered over time, this process enables the details of human error to continuously transform the structure in a beautiful way.
